Angie Crowe, originally from Essex, settled in London after gaining a 2:1 in Fine Art from the University of East London.
She
lived and worked in North London where she combined her love of creating
stylishly decorative artwork with a full time job as a
Researcher for a fine art publishing. Recently Angie has returned to her Essex
roots, settling in Leigh on Sea where she continues in her art publishing role
but on a part time basis whilst bringing up her baby boy.
Angie won an award for her artwork in the 2003 Essex Open
Exhibition and now regularly exhibits with the East End Arts Club. Her work
comprises acrylic on linen with various embroidery and paper embellishments.
Angie's inspirations include retro patterns and all things vintage. She likes
cooking, drinking wine, supporting West Ham and is a sucker for nineties indie
bands.
